Holler & Crow is a whimsical folk band based in Asheville, NC. Bringing together traditional Celtic and Appalachian music, thoughtful originals and delightful modern covers, this is the heart of the jaunty, genre-bending, 'Crowified' sound. The project was started in 2018 by Lark Frazier, and is a uniquely female-fronted traditional project. Instrumentation includes guitar, violin, viola, accordion, banjo, bouzouki, penny whistle, upright bass, and an eclectic variety of other folk instruments. Their debut album, Echoes, comes out September 4th, 2026, and was supported by ArtsAVL, Bank of America, and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
